Use
Your Vote
25th October 2007 - 16:39
If you are a webmaster or blogger whose articles/posts appear on photographyvoter.com,
you can now add a PhotographyVoter.com 'Vote' button to each page on your
website.
This will allow your visitors submit (if not already submitted) and vote
for your articles on photographyvoter.com..
It's easy to integrate the button to your website - just choose one of
these two methods:
a) The standard method - display one instance of the button on a single
web page:
b) Advanced method - display single or multiple buttons on a single page
- each pointing to a different URL:
The advanced method works well for blogs or other sites where links are
displayed to multiple orders.
Simply change http://www.targeturl.com to the relevant URL.
You can have as many button instances on a page as you like.
Here is an example of the advanced method:

Welcome
to the blog
21st October 2007 - 20:30
At the request of some of our users, we have setup a simple blog to keep
you all up to date on developments at photographyvoter.com.
We have a couple of additions to the website that we hope you might find
useful, the first being the ability to Invite
some of your friends to join photographyvoter.com - you will see this
at the top of the 'Published News' page when you are logged into the website
(shown below).
Feel free to invite as many people as you like to join the website and
help grow the photographyvoter.com community.
 |
The
other couple of additions to the website are traffic feeds courtesy
of feedjit.com.
The traffic feed lets you see where the latest visitors to the website
come from and from which website they arrived. Ok, so it may be
a gimmick but we think it's a pretty nice gimmick!!
What it does demonstrate is how diverse geographically the photographyVoter.com
community is. I for one really like the map... |
There are a
few other things the team are currently working on and hopefully, we'll
be able to bring you these features soon - these features include.
- Ability to subscribe to receive latest news stories by email
- Ability to add photographyvoter.com voting buttons to your website
We are also working on a blog entry outlining the various ways you can
add a link to photographyvoter.com from your website. This will allow
your visitors add blog entries/articles etc from your site to photographyvoter.com.
If you have suggestions on any features you would like on the website
or if you have any feedback (good or bad), please feel free to contact
us - we are always delighted to hear from the photographyvoter.com
community.
